UICapture is firefox addon that integrates with TestOptimal UIRepo. It automatically captures the element attributes and generates xpath locator by examining the underlying DOM structure.

UICapture is published on Firefox Add-On. Click Firefox UICapture to install UICapture. Select “Install” and “Restart Browser” to complete the installation process.

MBT Builder only works on Firefox and is opened from TestOptimal UIRepo.

When MBT BUilder is open, you will see a small panel added to the bottom of AUT webpage as shown in the screenshot above.

To capture/create an element, mouse click on any element on AUT webpage. A new element will be added to the currently selected UI Page.

You can choose left-mouse or right-mouse click.

UICapture can be turned off temporarily by clicking “Off” radio button.
